Yes, fully. It holds your Founding Keeper place, and is refundable any time until we build your Shard. When we do, it's credited toward the $4,900.

Your Shard lives in our preservation archive, ready whenever a loved one returns to it. It rests on a foundation built to outlast all of us, so the generations who come after you will always find you here.
How do I create a Shard?
You build it through a series of warm, guided conversations, more like reminiscing than filling out a form. Over a handful of sessions you tell your stories at your own pace, and you can add photos, voice notes, letters, and documents whenever a memory calls for them. If you like, you can invite close friends and family to add their own perspective and the moments you shared. There is no homework and nothing to study. You simply show up and remember, and your Shard takes shape around you.
